Day 7 Lazy Days

Not the most interesting day, work was streightforward and home was more osrs and witnessing my room mate loose his mind trying to set up an ark server that didnt share his IP, he eventualy got it and the two of us put in 3 hours while i ground sand crabs on my other workspace.

That can be somthing i talk about! My Distro! I use Arch Linux and not just for reddit karma specificaly I use Cachey OS with Hyperland. Im not even going to pretend to have set this up myself, my room mate, who you may have guessed is quite tech litterate, did it first for himself then gave me the configs that i have since broken

It might seem like a massive pain in the ass...

no it is a pain in the ass, but its so much cooler than windows, i love hopping across workspaces quickly, i love how clean the ui is and its all open source and free like all great softwear! all we need is valve to finally make publishers support linux with their god awful anti cheat and it will be perfect

somehow this highly custom linux install that has a bunch of under the hood medeling is waay faster to boot, games run better, and the menues arent all web apps for some god awful reason. I unfortunately have to keep a windows install for a select few games and photoshop is an essential part of my DnD prep so i can go back when i need, but maaaaaan dose it ever feel like a regression, Microslop truely sucks at everything

tomorrow is my room mates actual birthday so we will be going out for a meal then the next day is warick castle. i hear its amazing, will share some thoughts when im back

shame im so busy, finally got 85 combat so can continue questing in osrs with dream mentor, At first light and defender of varrok before the next grind session.

its also a shame that The Blood Moon Rises launched yesterday an all my fav creators are making videos about it that i can not watch ;-; i wanted to be there for the launch but i massively underestemated how long a quest cape would take
