Day 15 The Final Dawn

not much to report today, a busy day at work and a fun day on runescape, i finally got to finish the Twilight Emeseries Quest Line with The Final Dawn. awesome quest series in the coolest area of runescape, Varlamore is based of mesoamerican history, a setting i seem to always enjoy as my favourite MTG plane, Ixalan is also based on mesoamerica. I love the colours and the architecture and every time i learn more about the culture the more captivated i am, i also recall someone saying that runescape dose a lot of resarch for its more exotic locations to add credibility and to respect the history their borrowing, not sure how much i believe that, the island of karamja feels somehow off to me and i have never been able to put my finger on why. unfortunatly im not aware of the OSRS version of Spice 8 Rack to tell me if its respectful or not and i am not smart enough to research that nest of snakes.

the final dawn was really fun, every boss had fun mechanics that built on the previous fight, the tension was high, petting a dog was requiered to get a passcode, and its the first time i have ever seen a fantasy setting honestly commit to having female dwarfs have beards as magnificent as the male ones, to the point the main dwarven npc of the quest being a girl was a shock when i noticed the king call her 'she' absolute peak.

also as you may have noticed WE HAVE IMAGES! it was all going to be ascii art but then my good buddy tom showed me the site Dither it! i took the png from the OSRS wiki, made it black and white, set mode to bayer and matrix to 16x16 with a 2x pixel scale, i can also specify position and width to help place the image it should be right over here -->

this blog is really coming along, its a fun hobby to mess about with and i look forward to seeing its progress!
